thru double gates a limo slows, and
guardmen call the Rider down

who's ushered to a second car, and
ferried on thru wider realms

of double gates and double way with
every new enclosure

the limo grows, and seatrow keeps the
Rider from his Chauffeur

they’ve strung you up, are shocking you
the nightmare has caught up with you

the four of them, the five of them, are
using hand & tool on you

your tormentors, as you pass over,
morph into your angels

your tormentors are nurses now,
attentive at the gurney or the hearse

and you awaken in
a hall of stone you roam, and

a small mihraab, ignored by all, is
throbbing w/ a subtle glow

throw your prayer thru

your way unto the kaaba stone

and qibla be thy line of spine,
obeisant to the kaaba stone

and kaaba stone the center of
a circle that thy qibla is

a spoke on and the circle is
the winding of your way within
